From systems engineering to benefits product.
An interdisciplinary path through Penn State, two engineering internships, and seven years building at Guardian Life.
Harshit studied engineering and business at Penn State (2014–2018), an interdisciplinary path that earned him Dean's List honors and the Penn State Commonwealth Campus Award. He spent semesters abroad in Athens, Paris, London, and Dublin, and stayed active in the Penn State Economics Association, the South Asian Students Association, and IEEE.
Two systems engineering internships, at Siemens and FLSmidth, gave him a technical grounding before he ever touched a product roadmap.
He joined Guardian Life shortly after graduating, starting in benefits operations and process analysis before moving into Product & Strategy. Seven years later, he is still there, still in New York, still shipping.
